Halo of the Blues

Recently I got the opportunity to visit Stamford Bridge, the center of all ‘Blue Football’ (coined at the expense of my Man City and Everton brethren), according to me. The long walk on Fulham Road was probably worth it. Chelsea has been a team I’ve supported since my school days. The tickets, even for the museum tours, are expensive (expensive club, expensive tickets), especially for a season off-day, but one can always enjoy the place without spending an excessive lot.
There is a small curving alley-way with posters of past and present greats in full glory, to begin with, to the left as one enters the stadium premises. I walked once around the stadium (like a circumambulation…ha ha), and saw the reception and Osgood’s statue.
A place to visit for those who are ‘Forever Blues’, and not a bad place for an initiation into the Order of the Blues for the un- initiated!
